Welcome to FMS Tennis!!! We are very excited to work with your athlete during the 2025-2026 school year!
All Athletes are not eligible to participate in the Falcon Tennis Program unless all steps are completed. Failure to complete these steps before the first day of school might result in missing tennis tryouts. Schedules will be changed from Tennis to PE if these steps are not completed by Thursday, August 21st.
Tennis Tryouts: Tennis tryouts will be from 7:30am-8:30am on Wednesday, August 20th and Thursday August 21st (must attend both days). Athletes trying out for Tennis must be enrolled in the tennis class.
Tennis Uniforms: Athletes that make the tennis team must purchase a Tennis Uniform. Please purchase your uniform from Centex Shirt and Embroidery 1911 Austin Avenue #103. In addition to your daily uniform, Sweats are highly encouraged for our cold months.

2024-2025 Falcon Tennis Guidelines and Procedures
Additional class information: Students will need their own tennis racquet and tennis shoes in addition to their uniform. In addition to practicing tennis during the period, students will also participate in running, agility and weight lifting in the off season. Tennis experience is not required but preferred. Coach Schreiber will be the teacher of record for the class period and Coach Willman is the head tennis coach. He will run morning practices during the competitive seasons and will attend matches/tournaments.
About the Coach: Reagan Willman is returning in his 14th year as coach. Reagan has been coaching tennis for 25 years at the high school and middle school level. Reagan is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where he was a football letterman. He also holds a Masters of Education from Texas State University. Coach Willman is certified as a United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) teaching pro and he was recently named "Pro of the Year" for his work with kids ages 10 and under. In 2022, he was also named the CATA Middle School Coach of the Year. Since he joined us at Forbes, he has led our athletes to a district championship 6 times! He looks to continue the success of the program in the coming year.
