Welcome to basketball!

Basketball tryouts will be November 7 & 8. 7th grade will be before school from 7:10-8:40, and 8th grade after school until 6PM. To tryout for basketball, all athletes must have their physical on file with the GHS trainers, pay their catastrophic insurance fee online, and have all other RankOne documentation done. Athletes will be notified via hand-delivered letter on Friday if they have made the team or not. Players who make the team will begin practice on Monday, November 11. 

Parent meeting Monday, November 11 @ 5:30 in the Forbes cafeteria. 

7th practice schedule (with exceptions) will be from 7:45-first period. No practice on game day or day after game.

8th practice schedule (again, with exceptions) will be during last period to 5:15 on any non-game day Monday-Thursday, and until 5 on Fridays. Each week's practice schedule will be posted in the weekly newsletter on SportsYou.

Note we host a tournament on Saturday, December 7, attendance is mandatory for all players. B teams have a tourney on January 11, and A team has a second tourney on January 25.
