Our Principals

Principal Profile: Davin Vogler

Mr. Vogler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University and his Master's degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University. Prior to entering administration, Mr. Vogler taught at Manor Middle School in Manor ISD, served as an assistant principal for Manor High, as principal for Manor Middle School, as principal for Lago Vista Middle School, and, most recently, as associate principal for Georgetown High School. Mr. Vogler is married to Carrie (also an educator in GISD) and has three children, Micah, Cammie, and Jarrett. He loves spending time with family and friends (preferably on the lake), serving in his church, and is beyond excited to be a FALCON!

Assistant Principal Profile: Dr. Desi Fajardo

Dr. Fajardo is honored to serve as one of the new Assistant Principals at Forbes Middle School. With 15 years of experience in public education—both in Texas and beyond—she has served in a wide range of roles, including classroom teacher in ESL, Special Education, English Language Arts, Spanish, Bilingual, and Dual Language programs. She has also held leadership positions as a district ELL liaison and as a Middle School Dean of Students.

Dr. Fajardo earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, her Master’s degree from East Texas Baptist University, and her Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. 

Outside of her professional role, Dr. Fajardo is a proud wife and mother. Her son, Ricky, is her pride and joy, and she finds great fulfillment in supporting his academic and athletic pursuits. She also enjoys traveling with her husband, Carlos, and spending time with their beloved dog, Moon.

Dr. Fajardo is thrilled to join the Forbes Middle School community and looks forward to collaborating with our outstanding students, staff, and families. Together—We Won’t Just Fly, We’ll SOAR!

Assistant Principal Profile: Art Hernandez

Mr. Hernandez is excited to serve as one of the new assistant principals of Forbes Middle School this year. A proud Georgetown native and GISD graduate, he has spent the past six years serving students and families across the district. Throughout his career, he has held roles as a Social Studies teacher, coach, and campus leader, with experience at Tippit Middle School and, most recently, East View High School. 

Mr. Hernandez earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Tarleton State University. He is passionate about building strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and is committed to giving back to the community that raised him. 

Outside of school, Mr. Hernandez enjoys hiking, barbecuing, and spending quality time with his wife, Noelle, their daughter Emilia, born in March, and their Golden Retriever, Poppy.
