We are here to help you out with your student's Attendance.

Please report any absence to Mrs. Herd at (512)943-5156 by 10:00 am.

If your student will be coming in after the 10:00 am time, please call attendance to inform of late arrival.

Students 10 minutes late to class will be marked absent. 

 **When leaving a voice message please include your name, your student's first and last name, grade, the reason for absence and your phone number. 

The School Messenger (GISD's automated contact support) will call if your student is unverified for their absence from the first and second period of the day.

 

A parent/ doctor's note MUST be sent when the student returns to school.

Include student full name, grade, the reason for absence, date of absences and parent's/ guardian's signature.
