About Mrs. McCoy

Mrs. McCoy is entering her 13th year in public education. Before joining Forbes Middle School, as a School Counselor, she served as McCoy Elementary's School Counselor for five years. Her background includes experience as an elementary teacher and High School Counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Special Education from Sam Houston State University, as well as a Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. She is a certified School Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Originally from Georgetown, she now lives in Round Rock with her husband and 13-year-old rescue dog, Charlie. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out, and trying new restaurants. Mrs. McCoy couldn't be more excited to support Forbes Falcons as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically. It's going to be an amazing year!
