Visual Art

Trish Unzicker
Every individual has the capacity to create art. In my classroom, students are encouraged to explore a range of media so they can discover the materials and processes that resonate with them. Through this exploration, they develop the confidence to produce meaningful, high-quality work that reflects their personal style and creative voice.
My goal is for every student to leave with a strong foundation in artistic skills, knowledge of artists and art history, and an understanding of various tools and materials.
I am a proud parent of two young women who both attended Forbes Middle School and are graduates of Georgetown High School.

Hey y’all! I teach art and media productions, a.k.a the yearbook! I love teaching students the power of creativity and the value of expressing themselves. I learned how to teach art at Texas State University, and have lived in Texas my whole life.
