Symphony Orchestra

The Symphony Orchestra class at Forbes Middle School is for advanced students who have been playing their instruments for at least 1-2 years. Enrollment in this class is based on audition or director recommendation only. Students in this class read and play orchestra music daily and participate in concerts and other events. Students in the Varsity Orchestra are highly encouraged to audition for the Region 26 Orchestra and participate in UIL. Students in the Varsity Orchestra play higher level music and are preparing for High School Orchestra.

Students in this class have passed beginning and have surpassed non varsity level orchestra classes and can be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.
