8th Grade Science Class!

 

My Bio:

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Wildlife Biology and spent nearly 20 years working with animals in zoological facilities in roles ranging from technician to manager. In 2015, I transitioned into education and began teaching middle school science, and have been part of the Forbes community since 2019.  In class, students are reading, writing, and creating, coupled with STEAM-focused hands-on labs and activities designed to help students relate to the world around them.   

I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 25 years and am the proud parent of twin sons who graduated from GHS in 2024.  My limited spare time is spent with my family and two dogs, and volunteering at animal rescue facilities.
